Round 4: Comeback of the year!

Race Report: 25H of Spa-Francorchamps 2026 – A Legendary Weekend

The 2026 25H of Spa-Francorchamps will be remembered as one of the most emotional and resilient weekends in DPW-Racing history. Beyond the trophies and the intense track action, we reached a major milestone: DPW-Racing finished as the top-ranked Belgian team, successfully placing ahead of the other Belgian entry (car #24) in the final standings.

Here is how our journey unfolded across all four cars:

#18: The Pursuit of the Podium

The mission was clear, and the execution was flawless. Starting from a difficult P73, the team launched a spectacular recovery. Through consistent, error-free driving and a brilliant opening stint that vaulted them into the Top 40, they fought their way up to 18th Overall and secured an incredible 3rd place in the Pure class—marking their best result of the season!

#254: The Comeback of the Year

Starting from P31, the #254 was a force of nature, climbing into the overall Top 10 within just four hours. Despite a devastating, unavoidable collision with a spinning car that dropped them to 77th, the team refused to quit. They fought back like lions, recovering over 10 minutes to finish 11th Overall and 2nd in class. A performance defined by pure grit.

#390: A Milestone Debut

We witnessed a truly inspiring debut as our paraplegic driver took on his first-ever endurance race. Taking on a challenging four-hour opening stint, he showed impressive growth and composure, climbing as high as P80 during the opening stages. A performance to be proud of.

#518: Resilience Under Pressure

Despite technical hurdles with the new Oreca engine, the team displayed unwavering professionalism. After qualifying 17th and working through engine swaps, the focus shifted to tactical consistency. The team successfully secured 22nd Overall, 3rd in the Petit Podium class, and 2nd in the Ladies category.

A Historic Achievement

We are incredibly proud to have claimed the title of the first Belgian team in the final standings, finishing ahead of the other Belgian team in car #24. This achievement belongs to every single person—drivers, mechanics, and supporters—who stood behind us.

Your passion, commitment, and relentless support made this 25-hour marathon truly unforgettable. We faced setbacks, we overcame adversity, and we crossed the finish line stronger than ever.

Thank you for being part of this historic chapter. See you on the track!
