DPW Racing has been passionate about motorsport since 1997 — a legacy built on dedication, performance, and teamwork.

Team principal Davy Sneppe has been fascinated by cars from a very young age. At just 17, he began his racing career in oval racing — and with immediate success, taking victory in his very first race.

​

Our chief mechanic, Peter Verhelle, is Davy’s cousin. Together, they spent countless hours working on cars, fine-tuning every detail. Even back then, Peter made sure Davy could hit the track safely — a partnership that would become the foundation of DPW Racing.

Davy’s talent quickly showed results: in 2006 he became Vice Champion, followed by a third place overall in 2007. He continued to collect impressive victories in oval racing before discovering a new passion — drifting.

​

In 2011, Davy started drifting and competing on various circuits with his BMW E30 M3. By 2015, he had completely rebuilt the car himself into a full circuit racer. That same year marked his circuit debut in a FunCup. From that moment on, one thing was certain:
“One day, I will own a FunCup — and I’ll make it count.”

Through Davy’s body shop business, we often worked on repairing FunCup cars — and that’s how we got to know the FunCup inside and out.

​

At the end of 2018, Davy bought a FunCup, which made its debut in the 2019 French Championship. It didn’t take long for people to notice who we were — our highlight came with an incredible 2nd place overall out of 110 cars during the 8 Hours of Spa, in only our third race!

We finished 9th in the overall championship, and in 2020 we returned for another full season.

Our major breakthrough came in 2022, when we purchased a new car and converted it into an Evo1 to compete in the European FunCup Championship, in the Vintage class. We immediately claimed the championship title — and repeated that success in 2023!

In 2023, we also entered the Biplace class with our #381, winning the legendary 25 Hours of Spa and finishing the season as Vice Champions.

2024 proved to be another successful year. We finished 3rd in the overall FUN class standings, and Wout Sneppe made his debut as a race driver. Impressively, he became Rookie Champion, finishing on the podium in every race! This achievement makes him the most successful driver and youngest champion in the European FunCup.

2025 was a season full of ups and downs, but DPW-Racing once again proved what they’re capable of — with the highlight being our #518 taking the victory at Zolder in the Fun class. We fought at the front in every race, earning several well-deserved podium finishes throughout the season.
