Race Report: 8H of Charade – Pushing the Limits
The 8H of Charade provided another intense chapter for DPW-Racing. While the weekend brought its fair share of tactical challenges, the team once again proved their pace and ability to battle at the sharp end of the field.
#18: Steady Progress and Season Best
The #18 car saw a weekend defined by development and smart, consistent driving. Welcoming two new drivers with limited experience, the focus was on clean racing and building confidence.
Performance: The crew executed a flawless strategy, keeping the car free of damage and showing clear, consistent progress from start to finish.
Highlight: The team’s patience and dedication paid off in Race 2, where they secured their best result of the season so far. A fantastic milestone for the new lineup!
#518: Pace, Podium, and Persistence
The #518 team arrived at Charade with high expectations after securing overall pole position, and they spent the weekend proving they are a force to be reckoned with.
Race 1: The team maintained a strong position throughout the race. Despite a challenging situation caused by the failure of the organizer’s communication system, they managed to salvage a 3rd place overall and claimed a hard-fought victory in the Fun Class.
Race 2: It was a masterclass in pace, with the team holding 2nd overall for the vast majority of the race. A late-race strategy swing—where competitors took advantage of a yellow flag period to refuel—dropped the team to 4th overall, though they successfully secured another 1st in class.
Dominance: The #518 continues to be the benchmark for speed, claiming the fastest lap in class for both races.
Looking Ahead
That is the nature of motorsport—sometimes the results don't fully reflect the performance on track. However, we leave Charade with our heads held high, knowing we have the speed to challenge for the win every time we line up on the grid.
A massive thank you to our entire team—drivers, mechanics, and support crew. Your hard work is the engine behind these results, and we are already looking forward to the next challenge!
