The 8H of Spa-Francorchamps proved to be a weekend of high stakes and hard lessons for the DPW-Racing team. Despite a promising start in qualifying, the race demanded grit, quick mechanical repairs, and unwavering determination from every driver and crew member.

Race Performance: Fighting Through Adversity

#254: Competitive Spirit

The #254 crew were the protagonists of the race, locked in a fierce battle for P1 overall for seven full hours. Despite setting the overall fastest lap of the race, a combination of pit lane congestion and a one-lap penalty for an overtaking infraction under yellow flags hampered their podium charge. They leave Spa disappointed by the result but encouraged by their sheer pace.

#518: Unmatched Determination

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the #518—running in 2nd overall—suffered a heavy crash just two laps into the race. The team’s dedication was on full display as the mechanics worked tirelessly to return the car to the track after a 3-hour and 20-minute repair. Their success in finishing the race serves as a testament to the team’s spirit.

#18: Tactical Endurance

After a strong start that saw the car climb into the Top 30, the #18 faced a series of setbacks, including bodywork damage and a mechanical issue. The team pivoted their strategy, focusing on consistency to accumulate critical championship points and ensure the car reached the checkered flag.

#437: A Solid Debut

Competing in their very first race, the rookie drivers of the #437 impressed by maintaining a consistent pace within the Top 40. Despite a minor steering error that required a brief trip to the pits for repairs, the team showcased great composure, successfully completing their debut outing.
