Misfortune Hits DPW Racing at the 25H of Spa-Francorchamps

Race Report – 25H of Spa-Francorchamps

#18 – P71 Overall | P16 Pure

After a fantastic start, battling in the top 6 overall with a comfortable lead in the Pure class during the first 6 hours, our dream came to an end — the engine gave out.

Thanks to our amazing team, we managed to replace the engine and still finish the race!

None of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our top team — thank you!

#281 – P28 Overall | P15 Fun

Our Iceboys of Finland drove a flawless race, kept a cool head, and brought home a solid result — especially impressive with several new drivers, including rookies, on the team!

#381 – P72 Overall | P4 Biplace

Our biplace car, which brought tons of super happy passengers along for the ride during the race, steadily climbed the ranks to P3 up until the final 3 hours. Unfortunately, one of the drivers got caught up in an unavoidable crash. Still, they had the pace — setting the fastest lap in their class!

#518 – P25 Overall | P12 Fun

They had a tough start, dropping back to P94 — almost dead last — after a minor contact. But they fought their way back, charging into the Top 10 and even into podium contention in the Fun class. Unfortunately, bad luck struck again: the paddle shift system gave out, forcing us to fall back to P25.

A weekend full of setbacks…

But thanks to our determination, all four of our cars made it to the finish line!

Huge thanks to all our drivers for showing the true potential of the car — putting us in the lead in both the Pure and Fun classes during the race!

And of course, a massive shout-out to our mechanics for the hard work before and during the race. None of this would’ve been possible without you!

DPW Racing has once again shown what they’re capable of and are ready to prove it again at Circuit Zandvoort on September 20–21!
